Pathfinder`s JRE /should/ be totally insulated from whatever is installed on the system. This case I mentioned of the startup errors and the guy rolling back to 6.19 is the first I`d heard of that sort of problem. Too bad that didn`t fix your system, I had high hopes.

I''m pretty much out of ideas.

If you really want to have fun with this thing, you can try swapping in different JREs for Pathfinder to use. Pathfinder keeps its JRE in the jre subfolder of the install folder (e.g. C:Program Files (x86)Pathfinder 2009jre ). You can download any JRE or SDK from Sun, or now Oracle (just google "java"). Then replace Pathfinder''s JRE with the one you downloaded. You do this by deleting the contents of Pathfinder`s JRE folder and copying in the contents of the Java JRE folder.  i.e. the contents of: C:Program Files (x86)Javajre1.6.0_21 would be copied into C:Program Files (x86)Pathfinder 2009jre

If you try that, I''d be curious what you find.

Great. We`ll be sure to update the JRE in the next version to make sure whatever that was gets fixed.
