For imported DXF models, Pathfinder always uses a black background.  Unfortunately, right now, there is no way to set the color through the software.  I''ve made a note of this in our bug/feature tracking system.

What do you mean?  Do you have trouble showing normal background images (not DXFs) in the results view?
