I am trying to create a basic three story model to try out the software with importantin dxf files.  When I import the dxf files for the second floor, it does not line up with the 1st floor.  I can't find anyway to specify a reference point.  What am I doing wrong?

The current version of Pathfinder doesn't have an option to specify an origin when importing a DXF.  Unfortunately, it also won't let you translate the geometry after you've imported your model.  I'm afraid the DXFs coordinate system is non-adjustable until the next release.

When we post the next version, you'll be able to edit geometry.  That means after importing the DXF you could translate it to the proper location.

At the moment I can only think of 2 solutions:

1. Change the coordinates using your CAD software
2. Import using PyroSim, translate to correct the offset, using a fine grid export to FDS, import the FDS into Pathfinder
