Hello,

I have just installed Windows 7 64 bits in my computer.

Pyrosim 2010 and 2006 apparently work well, but when I go to 2D View, when I want to draw an object (OBST), the image is distorted...

Do you know if it's recommended work with W7?

I've run it a couple times on Windows 7 x64 and haven't noticed any problems.  However, we don't officially test against Windows 7 x64 yet.  We do test on Vista and the two seem to be pretty equivalent compatibility-wise.

Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?

andrea85, are you having trouble with PyroSim on a floating license server? Common problems include:

  • installing the license file via PyroSim rather than dropping it in the license server install folder
  • not running the license server installer with sufficient privileges (admin) - preventing the server process from being started
  • problems related to firewall port blocking

In the time since Xoano's last post, several of the developers have switched to Windows 7 x64 and we've found that PyroSim functions in that environment (i.e. it poses no special problems).

Could you describe your problem in more detail? (e.g. "I did X and expected Y, but instead I saw Z.")
