I just tested the "Resume Simulation" feature on the roomfire sample problem using PyroSim 2011.1.1219 x64 and it worked as expected. I know of no bugs the current release or any recent releases that could explain your problem.

The resume feature will only work if you click the Stop button - this causes the STOP file to be written and causes FDS to save a simulation checkpoint.

Could you be more specific about what is happening?

Are you able to share the simulation input file (FDS or PSM)?
