Hello

I'm trying to  run several simulation with little modifications in the input file, but the problem is that i can't achieve to find how to run a simulation from an input file. In the technical manual it is said that: "The simulator portion of Pathfinder can optionally use an input file to run simulations. By default, this input file is written every time a simulation takes place.". May be i have to desactivate the default action? And if it is, how can I do that?

Thank you for the help.

At one time, the install included a class ("inferno.TestSim") that could be invoked manually from the command prompt. Later, we assumed that it was only being used for internal testing and stripped it out of the install to save a few bytes. I'm sorry we didn't make the corresponding manual updates.

Currently, we don't include a facility to run Pathfinder in this way.

First of all thank you for the answer.

I understand the difficulty of startup with a software of this features, so I would be like to take advantage of this thread to make 2 suggestions for futures releases.

1. Of course, is to bring back the posibility to run the simulator from the input file. It could be interesting for the users who use it to introduce differents distributions for the velocities, shoulder-to-shoulder length, reaction time...or any another random behavior or coharasterisc of the people calculated previously form a inverse distribution made by themselves.

Another suggestion that i want to do is, the posibility to run the simulator several times with different seeds in order to obtain statistical estimations for the factors that are calculated until now.

Thank you again and congratulations for the software.
