Hi.

I updated PyroSim today from the older version described above to the newest.
Since then I could not run my pyrosim model on fds anymore (Fds aborts telling "Error: problem with MESH line"). Using the older version of pyrosim this was possible.
I checked the .fds files produced by pyrosim and discovered that using the new version pyrosim creates the mesh line using commas as decimal separator. The old version uses dots.
When in manually replace the commas and then manually start fds to simulate that file without using pyrosim it works as before.
Is there a way to make the new version use dots as decimal separator, so that I can simualte my pyrosim files directly again?

Thank you in adavance.

With best regards
Robert

Thank you for reporting this bug. When creating the FDS input file, we failed to force a locale that uses '.' as the decimal (radix) character when running in a locale that uses commas (or any other) decimal character. We're working on a patch right now.

Until an patched version is available, you should be able to work around this bug in either of two ways:

Option 1: Disable Format FDS file for easy reading.

1. On the File menu, click Preferences
2. Click to clear (disable) "Format FDS file for easy reading"
3. Click OK

Option 2: Force PyroSim to run in an English locale.

1. On the Start Menu, right-click the link that starts PyroSim (i.e. PyroSim 2011)
2. Click Properties
3. In the Target box, add the following string to the end (after the last quotation mark): -J-Duser.language=en
4. Click OK

Thank you.

Option 2 works fine.
