I'm having a bit of a problem with Pyrosim. Whenever I edit my model Pyrosim starts hanging and ends up not responding. Pyrosim is using 50% of CPU until I close it down. It seems to be provoked by even the slightest change (f.x. edit of OBST). It's pretty annoying.
PC: Win XP Pro 2002 SP3, 2 GB RAM, dual processor. Pyrosim is running on a floating licens.
I have updated to Pyrosim 1621 and closed all other applications but the problem persists.
I have tried to allocate more memory (-TXmx500m) but then Pyrosim won’t start up.
I have tried to disable parts of my model but with no effect
Could anyone give me a hint?
Thanks

Do you know if PyroSim is producing LOG files (which would contain diagnostic data) when it crashes? They would show up in either your current model's folder or your system temp folder (%TEMP%). If not, could you try running in PyroSim's Safe Mode? It would be helpful to know if anything is printed to the console right before the program freezes.
If those approaches don't give us anything, the next option is to email your PSM file to support@thunderheadeng.com and we can try to reproduce and fix the problem using your file.

Thanks for your fast reply. There is no LOG file in the folders you suggest. I have tried running in Safe Mode but nothing out of the ordinary is printed.
It seems like the freeze occurs when Pyrosim is doing a Licens Check at the same time as I'm making some change.
After some time the Licens Check is resolved but Pyrosim doesn't recover. The licens server is 99% idle.
I have a feeling that the freeze occurs less often if I save after each change.
The freeze occurs in two different models, both with around 1200 and 800 OBST's.

Email support@thunderheadeng.com
There we can give you a temporary, non-floating license to see if that fixes the problem.
